Part of the Kosciuszko Festival will be held at the Jindabyne Randall Community Aerodrome on Sunday the 15th of April 2012.
The Sixth Kosciuszko Festival will include Polish-Aboriginal Fraternity Flights over Mt Kosciuszko donated by members of Jindabyne Aero Club.
These flights and the day will celebrate Mt Kosciuszko Massif’s traditional custodians the Ngarigo people, and Polish traveller and surveyor Sir P.E. Strzelecki.
Poles & Ngarigo people will be sharing their common heritage & celebrating the High Country of Australia.
Programme: Flights, picnic, BBQ, songs of Kosciuszko and Strzelecki, filming, interviewing.
This event will be preceeded by Polish-Irish Picnic on Saturday 14th of April 2012 on the grounds of St Thomas Church at Moonbah.
